Every piece of furniture I create is personal from sketch to completion; I source, hand-select, and dry all of my own materials. All lumber is milled from already downed trees from the central Massachusetts area rather than purchased through distributors. I prefer to work with local species such as maple, walnut, cherry, elm, and oak.
Each of my designs are unique, tailored to the needs of my clients, and always guided by the characteristics of the wood. I believe that furniture is meant to be used; my pieces are designed to be sturdy and finished with durable, non-toxic products so they can be a part of your home for years to come.
Be aware that I am a one-man shop - pieces can take several months to produce.
